MP's street justice programs have served more than 13,000 people in 2024

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, during a day held in the Plaza de Los Palos Grandes, in the Chacao municipality of Miranda state, reported that the Public Ministry, in seven deployments carried out in 2024 as part of street justice programs (The MP goes to your community and the MP heeds your complaint in the Parish), has treated a total of 13,492 people.
He indicated that during the day held in the Plaza de Los Palos Grandes and other public spaces in the area, such as Plaza La Castellana and the surroundings of the shopping centers, 23 prisoners were treated in the CICPC delegation in Chacao and 105 legal guidelines were made, as well as 20 complaints that included fraud, theft and simulation of punishable acts.
Saab explained that during the public service days of the Public Ministry during the current year 2024, “632 complaints have been received, 12,000 guidelines have been offered and 542 cases have been expedited to mitigate criminal delay, in addition to 621 social assistance”, as part of a balance sheet of the entity's annual results.
He also explained that the street programs carried out by the MP, at the national level, have so far served more than 68,933 people, while more than two million were received in the offices: “a record number”.
