Municipal tourism spokespersons receive certification in Aragua

During the first Community Tourism Meeting in the state of Aragua, 80 community tourism spokespersons received their certificates from the National Plan for the Awareness and Training of Community Tourism Spokespersons 2024.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the activity carried out in the entity's Legislative Council was accompanied by the Minister for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, and by Governor Karina Carpio, who stressed that “the state of Aragua stands out for its megadiversity, which makes it a point of high impact in the tourism sector”.

During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of “exhibitions that we can develop from our spaces, each with its unique peculiarities”.

He also stressed that “the minister's visit represents a unique opportunity to establish new alliances that promote tourism in the state of Aragua. I am proud because the mayors and mayors have shown an exemplary commitment, actively collaborating with their tourism departments to materialize and strengthen the capacities of our municipalities.”

For its part, the single tourism authority in the state of Aragua, Maritza Mendoza, stressed that this effort has the support of mayors and mayors, as well as Governor Carpio, with the objective of continuing to strengthen this tourism engine.

The day was held with the purpose of promoting tourism from the ground up, the high-impact spaces of our state, always highlighting the presence of community bases for quality communal and popular tourism development.
