The María Luisa Escobar Room at the Valencia Art Museum (MUVA) was filled with color and music with the presentation of the play “¡Bailadora Quiero Ser!” , which combined dance, laughter and Venezuelan tradition through the dance of Burras and Burriquitas.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the activity allowed about 200 attendees, including children and adults, to recognize the regional variants of this cultural event from Mérida, Lara, Cojedes and Carabobo.

The proposal, promoted by the Naguanorte Cultural Foundation in partnership with the Center for Cultural Diversity of Carabobo, stood out as a community creation project focused on strengthening the social fabric and bringing new generations closer to their cultural roots.

The event also paid tribute to key figures of regional identity, such as José Gregorio Soler and Joe Suenverg, while the Gajillo Foundation of Venezuela and teacher José Francisco Bisamon offered musical accompaniment to the dancers from San Diego, San Joaquín and Naguanagua.

At the end of the day, the institution's spokespersons celebrated the educational and cultural impact of the project, which reaffirms the MUVA's commitment to the dissemination of popular expressions that represent the essence of Venezuelan citizenship.
