The Head of Government of Caracas, Nahúm Fernández, said that the people on the street believe in Venezuelan democracy, so he went out to participate in the simulation this Sunday.

“The massive presence of citizens in the voting centers is a reflection of the people's support for democracy and the electoral system. Those of us who bet on life, democracy, love, the Republic, are more and we will prove it again on July 28,” said Fernández.

He also stressed that the participation of our people in the drill demonstrates trust and security in the electoral system. “This fills us with joy because every time a Venezuelan exercises his vote he is betting on democracy,” he said.

As for the voting process, he said that it is totally fast, “after handing in the ballot, you find the card, you choose your candidate and then the word vote appears, the ballot is printed and deposited.”

He stressed that in Venezuela there is cutting-edge technology in the electoral system.
