Nahum Fernández: This people have a great commitment to the defense of their sovereignty

The vice-president of mobilization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernández, reaffirmed this Saturday that in the face of imperialist threats, Venezuelans have given a strong response of patriotism.

“I am proud to be Venezuelan, to see how our people are willing to defend their Homeland,” he said during the Great Mobilization for Military Enlistment in the 23 de Enero parish in Caracas.

He also stressed that today joining the military enlistment means “undoubtedly being part of the sovereign history of Venezuela, going to Carabobo, going to Ayacucho (...) 'there are enough people here': as Hugo Chávez said; and this people that have been in resistance, today more than ever are on the offensive, let no one make mistakes and let no one be confused”.

He emphasized that in the face of this miserable aggression by the United States, countries of the world stand up in solidarity with Venezuela. In addition, he specified that “today we are a great example of vanguard struggle, we are a great example of dignity”.

He assured that this people are willing to continue fighting, with a great commitment to the defense of sovereignty.
