The sectoral vice-president for communication and culture, Freddy Ñáñez, assured that the electoral simulation, held this Sunday, June 30, is a sign of participatory and leading democracy in Venezuela.

The Minister for Communication and Information, also added that “Venezuela does nothing more than share and show how we have perfected our electoral system,” to which he added that next July 28 there will be “a direct, secret and universal election”.

He specified that the Venezuelan system, in addition to being one of the best and most reliable in the world, “ensures that in addition to guaranteeing the will of the People, it also guarantees the strength of the institutions (...) that is why we have always been open to being able to accompany us to see, to appreciate how democracy and an election are lived in the country.”

Finally, he recalled that “25 years ago, a Revolution was made through electoral means that has turned democracy into a way of daily life”.
