The municipality of San José de Guaribe, in Guárico, in a joint effort between the National, Regional and Community Governments, is taking a decisive step towards modernizing its road infrastructure with the start of the 2024 Asphalt Plan.
This ambitious project, which is part of the National Plan for Comprehensive Road Care 2024, represents a crucial milestone in improving mobility and safety conditions for all the inhabitants of the town.
The deployment of this plan was carried out with the participation of the Secretary General of Government of the Bolivarian State of Guárico, Freddy Ali Gómez, who together with the mayor of the Guaribe municipality, May. Julio Yánez, led the start of the work from the emblematic First Black Street, with the presence of the Communal Power and the Great Venezuela Transport Mission.

The main objective of the 2024 Asphalt Plan is to optimize road services in the town, ensuring safe and adequate conditions for vehicle and pedestrian traffic. With significant investment from the National Government, a total of 2000 tons of asphalt are planned to be placed on various roads in the municipality, which will allow the rehabilitation and improvement of the main road arteries.
“This project not only seeks to improve road infrastructure, but also to promote the economic and social development of San José de Guaribe. With roads in optimal conditions, access will be facilitated, local commerce will be promoted and tourism will be encouraged in the region, thus contributing to the growth and prosperity of this blessed land. This is only possible thanks to the policies implemented by our president Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán and of course the resounding support of Governor José Vásquez, who carry out actions that align with Venezuela's vision of transformation towards the year 2030,” said Yánez.

The positive impact of this project extends beyond the improvement of transport conditions. The implementation of the 2024 Asphalt Plan reflects the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the well-being and progress of San José de Guaribe, as well as to the strengthening of participatory democracy and the rapid response to the people.
