National Assembly approves Celebration and Jubilation Agreement for World Baseball Classic champions

The President of the Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, praised the presence of the World Classic trophy in the legislative precinct, in addition to stressing the magnitude of the achievement achieved by the tricolor team.

“Love with love pays off; the love you showed can only be paid for the love that you pour out on all the streets of Venezuela, all our cities, all our people and every corner of this land called Venezuela, which today tells you: you are our heroes, you are not just a living sporting glory; each one of you are our heroes for generations to come and we lift you to the place you deserve as true heroes,” Rodríguez stressed.

He also emphasized that it is an honor for every Venezuelan and for every Venezuelan to pay homage to these heroes. In turn, Rodríguez linked national sentiment with the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez.
