National Assembly approves first 55 articles of the Organic Mining Bill

In the regular session of this Thursday, March 26, the National Assembly (AN) advanced to Article 55, in the second discussion of the Draft Organic Law on Mines.

Articles 24 were approved, which state that “the purpose of the National Mining Fund is to seek resources for social and economic projects to be developed in areas where mining activities are carried out”, as well as article 32, according to which the ministry with competence in mining matters establishes the formalities that have to do with the receipt of the assets to which the law under discussion refers.

The deputies of the Venezuelan parliament will continue the debate on the articles of the law in the next regular session.
