National Assembly approves in the first discussion Reform of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, announced the approval in the first discussion of the Organic Law Reform of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).

Rodríguez explained that the proposed amendment to this law is aimed at Article 8, which establishes the formation of the chambers of the highest court.

In this regard, he pointed out that the reform seeks that five of the chambers be made up of five judges, instead of three, as currently, and that the Constitutional Chamber be composed of seven members.
