Tribute to Cristóbal Mendoza in the Burning Chapel

This Sunday, June 23, regarding the transfer of the symbolic remains of the first president of Venezuela, Cristóbal Mendoza, to the National Pantheon in Caracas, national authorities paid a tribute in the Burning Chapel in the Federal Legislative Palace.

The event was led by the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the first vice-president of the AN, Pedro Infante; the first vice-president of the AN, América Pérez; and the governor of the state of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, and other authorities.

After honoring this distinguished Venezuelan, the Venezuelan authorities took a tour from the Federal Legislative Palace, through Plaza Bolívar in Caracas, to the National Pantheon.

In addition, people, representatives of the Popular Power and fighters of the Trujillo state were also present at this event to vindicate the former Trujillo who dedicated his life to supporting just causes for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Venezuela.
