The National Government is making progress in the creation of the Unified Export Protocol, to consolidate the standardization and optimization of export logistics processes.

The Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion, Johann Álvarez Márquez, held a meeting with representatives of the country's business chambers, in which he stressed that one of the most important aspects of this protocol is the unification to obtain permits according to the legal regime that applies to the products, a phase in which all the agencies and processes involved in the export activity will be directly linked to the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCE).

“All processes must be carried out through the VUCE, this will allow for the simplification of procedures,” said the official, press release of the Ministry of People's Power for Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade.

Álvarez, recalled that recently the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered the creation of the Unified Export Protocol, as part of the permanent dialogue with the nationalist business sector with a view to the transformation and transition to a new and diversified economic model of its own.

In this regard, he mentioned that one of the actions necessary to optimize processes has to do with minimizing export times, which, according to the reviews and approaches of exporters, is 51 days.

“The instruction of our head of state is to shorten that period to 10 days, which will expedite commercial exchange with more products and more destinations,” he added.
