National government carries out photogrammetric flights in areas affected by earthquakes of the 24J

The Sectorial Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, highlighted the importance of the photogrammetric flights that are taking place in areas affected by the earthquakes of June 24.

These flights are carried out on aircraft equipped with specialized cameras and sensors, which allow high-resolution images of the terrain and buildings to be captured from different angles.

Photogrammetric flights assisted by Artificial Intelligence use drones to capture automated aerial images, processing them using artificial vision and neural networks. These systems perform 3D reconstruction, noise filtering and orthomosaic generation much faster and more precisely than traditional methods.
