National Government delivered 217,000 supplies to strengthen the hospital network in La Guaira

The Guaracarumbo CDI, in Urimare parish, was the reception point for a batch of 217,000 surgical medical supplies intended to strengthen the hospital network in the state of La Guaira.

This provision, according to a press release, will serve to guarantee care in 7 health centers, including Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI) and specialized centers, such as the Catia La Mar Popular Clinic.

The delivery of these supplies was led by Nelare Bermúdez, the state's sole health authority, and Pedro Rodríguez, Secretary of Social Protection of the Government, who reported that with this new provision, more than 680,000 supplies have been distributed so far this year.

The authorities also reported that more than six thousand health workers remain deployed in public offices, CDI, outpatient clinics and hospitals in the region.
