National Government delivers agrarian instruments and evaluates maize agri-food plan in Guárico

On a productive day in Valle de La Pascua, the Minister for Productive Agriculture and Lands, GJ. Vladímir Padrino López, delivered 279 agrarian instruments this Thursday to guarantee legal certainty for producers.

At the meeting with producers from that llanera entity, the holder of the agricultural portfolio also issued farm certifications. “Whoever has the land, whoever works the land, deserves the land,” he told those awarded, and with this action, 14,956 hectares of the Guárico state are regularized.

He also noted the progress of the communal maize agri-food plan, corresponding to the winter cycle 2026, which contemplates the planting of 17,000 hectares with the participation of 70 communes and 1600 producers from this llanera entity.

Along with Governor Donald Donaire, Minister Padrino López delivered vehicle equipment and technological equipment to the staff of the regional office of the National Land Institute (INTI), in order to optimize care for producers in the field and reinforce institutional support.

“We are called to be reborn and that rebirth must be intellectual, political, social, productive, agro-productive, livestock, vegetables from all productive sectors,” the minister told the producers.

He also announced the elaboration of an important plan with the Government to strengthen the production of oilseeds, legumes and sorghum.

At the meeting, the agricultural minister held a conversation with presidents of associations of corn producers.

In the context of the day, Minister Padrino López oversaw the reactivation of the “Juan Antonio Moronta” Community Laboratory, located in the “October 12” sector of Easter Valley, to provide technical assistance to producers, promote the local production of biocontrollers and agroecological inputs.

The state of Guárico has 6 million 400 thousand hectares, with potential in the vegetable, livestock and forestry sectors. “There should be nothing missing in Guárico for it to be an epicenter,” said the minister, at the same time that he directed a review of installed operational capacity to benefit the producer's profitability.
