National Hockey Championship Seven kicks off in Lara state

This Thursday, August 28, at the Aquizlino Jaures Sports Center in Cabudare, in Lara state, the National Hockey Championship Seven kicked off.

The competition, organized by the Venezuelan Hockey Federation with logistical support from the Lara State Hockey Association, brings together 98 athletes (49 female and 49 male) from the states of Aragua, Barinas, Lara, La Guaira, Mérida, Portuguesa and Yaracuy.

Group A of the men's branch is made up of the delegations of La Guaira, Portuguesa and Aragua. In section B, there are Yaracuy, Barinas, Lara and Guárico, as reported by the Ministry of Sport press.

For its part, the women's frog will play a round-robin phase against Aragua, Barinas, Portuguesa, Trujillo and Lara.

The 2025 National Hockey Seven Championship will be held until August 31 and will serve to continue with the massification of these disciplines and select future members of the national teams.
