National judo in the cadet and absolute categories will kick off the calendar of international competitions in Panama with two specific events per section.

This was reported by the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports (MPPD) in a press release detailing that these days are essential for evaluating physical and technical conditions and for adding points to the universal ranking of the discipline.

The competitions, held with intermediate days, will take place at the Vasco Núñez Convention Center located in Panama.

The youth representation, for their international debut, will be the first to jump to the mat of the Pan American Cup from March 20 to 22 next. The main objective of this competitive youth event will be to evaluate the performance of athletes who are preparing to compete in the South American Youth Games that will take place from April 12 to 25 in Panama.

The absolute category, on the other hand, will compete from March 21 to 23 in which it will also be preparatory to the Pan-American category of the category that will be held on April 18 and 19 in Panama and will add points to the Dominican multi-sport event.
