National leader: Venezuela on 28J will send a powerful message and sanctions will have to be lifted

This Monday, May 20, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that with the strength that the Venezuelan people will show on July 28, when they choose to be re-elected in the Presidential electoral contest, the possibility of lifting criminal coercive measures by North American imperialism and despite marked differences, achieving trade agreements is opening up.

“We'll see, on July 28 we're going to send such a powerful message to the world that we're going to achieve even that miracle,” he said.

He emphasized that “we are going to overcome the sanctions and they will have to lift them. You'll see it, I'll see it. God will provide.”

This was stated during the 46th broadcast of his program “With Maduro+”, where he argued that sanctions are a shooting in the foot of the United States, “they put us in a difficult situation, we learned and now they are not going to be able to stop us.”

He reiterated once again that Venezuela is moving towards growth and development, “the country is going big, with its own methods, obtaining the technology we need, creating our innovations and its sanctions, we will be turning them into useless elements to put pressure on this people, who are not going to give up.”

“It didn't give up, it's never going to be delivered, plus we've already achieved the path of deployment and development, which is the most important thing of all,” he argued.
