National President congratulates Pablo Guadarrama winner of the Critical Thinking Award 2025

On the night of Monday, September 08, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated Pablo Guadarrama, Cuban philosopher and writer, winner of the thirteenth edition of the Prize for Critical Thinking 2025.

The writer won the highest award with the text “Marxism and Antimarxism in Latin America”, which in the opinion of the Head of State is a book for the formation of new generations.

During the +Culture segment, he highlighted that the Liberator Prize for Critical Thinking 2025 continues to be a fundamental pillar for promoting revolutionary ideas and intellectual commitment in Latin America.

✔️The President of the Center for Latin American Studies Romulo Gallegos (CELARG), Pedro Calzadilla, reported that this award not only recognizes the work of Guadarrama, but also reaffirms the conviction and love for truth of intellectuals committed to the transformative ideas facing the region.

The Liberator Prize for Critical Thinking, created in 2005 by President Hugo Chávez, is considered the most important recognition of counterhegemonic thinking in the Spanish language. In this edition, 71 works were received, and the call was open from September 12, 2024 to March 15, 2025.

The award is organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, through the Romulo Gallegos Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CELARG) and the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity.
