During the 25th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Free Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, criticized the prevailing inaction in the United Nations (UN) in the face of the genocide carried out by the Israeli army against the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip.

“Every bomb that kills a Palestinian child falls on the UN,” he maintained and predicted that in the face of this position of passivity, this body “seems doomed to disappear”.

He also questioned the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for the silence that prevails in the midst of this criminal siege against the Palestinian people.

“And what does the ICC say? What does the ICJ say? Criminal smart bombs fall that destroy hospitals, schools, shelters and no one says anything,” he said.
