The Great Venezuela Youth Mission will include sex education and sports programs, announced President Nicolás Maduro, during the launch of the mission and presentation of its leaders.

He reported that sexual health programs will be launched to prevent early and unwanted pregnancy, as well as physical activities and days dedicated to the rehabilitation of courts.

In this regard, Deputy Genesis Garvett, head of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, explained that the third program of the mission will cover all aspects related to the prevention of early pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

“It's a call to young people who have an active sex life, because we need to grow more and more in information about protection,” Garvett said. He also noted that the programs will be taken to all social strata “from the neighborhood, the countryside to the city.”

In the same fourth program of this Great Mission, Garvett indicated that the promotion of sports practices and the participation of young people in games at all levels will be carried out. “We are going to continue to support the sporting impetus that the Venezuelan people have and place the country's new sports stars and athletes in the hotbed of the country,” he said.

He also announced the Open Court Plan, which will not only be aimed at the rehabilitation of infrastructures but also for the organization of sports practices.
