National President: In 2025 the goal is to exceed 5 million quintals of coffee production

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the communal coffee force has managed to recover the production of Venezuelan coffee, joining efforts to consolidate its position among the best coffees in the world.

In this context, he specified that by 2025 the goal is to exceed 5 million quintals of coffee production, “currently the country has more than 100% of the supply of coffee. We have full supply with domestic production

He ratified his proposal to apply the PAE formula: Producing to Supply and Export, “we have already started exporting although there is still a long way to go”.

He highlighted that in 2024, more than 16 thousand quintals of coffee were exported, representing a growth of 1300% in terms of exports.

This was stated from the state of Lara, during the National Assembly of Communal Coffee 2025-2026, where he offered the balance sheet on coffee production in Venezuela.

In this regard, he specified that coffee is currently produced in 136 municipalities of the country out of 335 existing; 21 states are coffee producers, and more than 58,000 coffee growers have been organized and registered.

He also indicated that the Bolivarian Government has promoted coffee planting on 251 thousand hectares and 237 thousand hectares are currently operating.
