This Monday, from his Con Maduro+ program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that Maria Corina Machado returned to the country a few days ago.

“She's here, she's back,” she revealed and assured that her return was due to a request to leave Colombia where she was holding meetings with drug traffickers and paramilitaries to promote violent actions against Venezuela.

“It's so toxic that she was in Colombia and they told her to get out of there, we don't want her,” said the head of state, who warned that after this return that “she 's moving (...) with the call she made with the red faces where she thought she was going to mobilize a million people in Caracas and would appear saying: 'here I am, Maduro I'm going for you', but the failure was so resounding that it fell into disarray.”

He added that when Machado arrived in the country “he stayed at the residence of the Dutch ambassador and then he was sleeping in the United States embassy, which we take care of and respect, not like ours in that country where she was assaulted and illegally kidnapped.”

He revealed that the people who look after the American diplomatic headquarters “were stubborn because the lady arrived more bitter. (...) but she has the promise to leave in the next few days.”
