National president ratified call for elected opposition mayors to work in unity

This Monday, July 28, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified his call to the 50 opposition mayors who were elected in the recent Municipal Elections, “to all work in unity, with mayors, governors, governors, community councils and the Presidency of the Republic on a single plan.”
“I have sent a message to the 50 mayors of the opposition, I offer them my hands as a worker, as an ordinary man, in the neighborhoods, so that as President of the Republic, we can all work together,” he said.
The proposal was made at the Miraflores Palace, where he received the march held on the occasion of the 71st birthday of the Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez and one year after his victory for the Presidency of the Republic, in the electoral process of July 2024, as well as the victory in the Municipal Elections 2025 and the massive participation in the first National Popular Consultation of Youth.
He also informed that he has already given the date to the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to convene for next week a meeting with the country's 24 governors and the 335 mayors elected on July 27.
