National President: There is no explanation or excuse or reason to kidnap a child

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified on Monday his commitment to the rescue of all Venezuelan boys and girls who were separated from their families in the United States (USA), within the framework of the criminal immigration policies of the Donald Trump Administration.

“One who has children, grandchildren and granddaughters feels this cause as a sacred, special cause. Let no one touch a boy, a girl, let no one touch a son, a daughter, a grandson, a granddaughter. They are untouchable, they are sacred,” said the Head of State during the 86th broadcast of his show Con Maduro+.

In this regard, he stressed that “there is no explanation, there is no excuse, there is no reason to kidnap a boy, to kidnap a girl. Neither race nor religion nor nationality (...) Maybe here on earth for some there is no justice, but there is a God, and God sees everything.”

The Dignitary recalled that last Friday, seven of the 31 boys and girls who were still being kidnapped returned to the country, as well as the 252 Venezuelans who were illegally detained in a maximum security prison in El Salvador.
