The Trujillo 2026 National Road Cycling and Para-cycling Championship will be held from 24 to 28 June in the Andean state, where the organizers estimate the participation of more than 250 cyclists.
Quoted by the specialized press, the president of the Venezuelan Cycling Federation (FVC), Gerardo Márquez, said that they are “prepared here in Trujillo to receive the cyclists and paracyclists who will be competing in the National Road Championship. We start from June 24 to Sunday 28, the 24th will be the Technical Congress and we aim for the participation of more than 250 athletes”.
The governor of the state of Trujillo also specified that the time trial will take place on Thursday, in which they will compete in different categories: paracyclists, women's youth, men's U-23, youth men's, women's elite and men's elite. This is a test in which the speed and strength of each of the participants predominate, who complete the journey alone against time.
On Thursday and Friday, the road championships will continue with a special circuit on Avenida Bolivariana in the city of Valera.
