The San Martín Theater in Caracas became the epicenter of acrobatics with the celebration of “Venezuela in Flight”, an event that brought together 78 young exponents of the country's circus and aerial arts.
The National Aerial Arts Gala served to highlight the creativity of new talents derived from the Equilibrium Vzla competition, according to the Ministry for Culture.
During the day, several academies showed their shows in which national athletes and artists defied gravity in disciplines such as fabrics, trapeze, hoop and swings.
The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Cazal, expressed his emotion at the tricolor deployment and highlighted the dedication and commitment of the participants.
“Your parents are dedicated to allowing you to continue in that effort to stay in the air, while keeping your feet on the ground, in this land of Venezuela. I really enjoyed it, we will continue to support this commitment, we will be present where we should be, we are one team, and that team is called Venezuela,” he said.
In the same way, he recognized the effort and dedication in giving awards to three artists who, at such a young age, are already in first place in air competitions inside and outside the country.
