Just two days after the blackout that affected Spain, Portugal and part of France, at least 20,000 people were left without electricity in the Netherlands.
According to international media and web portals, the power outage occurred at 11:02 local time (09.02 GMT), after the explosion that occurred at one of the electrical substations in the city of Enschede in the Netherlands, near the border with Germany.
At the moment, they have reported that the blackout was due to human error during maintenance tasks at one of the distribution stations in the Twente region, which provides energy to the affected entity, as reported by a spokesman for the supplier company.
