Nicaragua congratulated Venezuela for the new victory in defense of its sovereignty

The President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and Vice President Rosario Murillo congratulated Venezuelan families for the country's new victory in defending the sovereignty, dignity and rights of our Peoples, after the elections of governors, deputies and legislative councils were held this Sunday, May 25.

“In these our American lands, Venezuela's triumph today is our triumph. We celebrate with immense joy this new victory in the campaigns for sovereignty, dignity and rights of our Peoples,” reported the Sputnik website.

They emphasized that, at present, there are greater advances in peace, security and the well-being of Venezuelan citizens.

In addition, both expressed admiration for the work done by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, the First Lady, Cilia Flores, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, for the Venezuelan People.

“The eternal spirit of Commander Hugo Chávez inspires and strengthens us on this journey of hope, faith and deserved triumphs. We are always going forward, we are always going further,” they said.
