In addition, this Sunday in an act full of profound spirituality in which the pieces were formally presented before the sacred image of the saint, receiving the blessing that will mark the beginning of the celebration.

Luis Lovera expressed his deepest gratitude to the entire social fabric that made this cultural milestone possible. He made a very special mention of the seamstresses, whose dedicated hands worked day and night with love and care to make the banners. He also extended his recognition to the media for massing information and, in a very particular way, to each citizen, merchant and collaborator who provided fabrics, materials, financial support or who directly developed their own flag.

“The goal was achieved and this is thanks to a devoted people who spare no effort to preserve their heritage. Without the support of each of you, this would not have been possible,” he concluded.
