Venezuelan Rómulo Otero came off the bench with substitutes and 9' minutes later scored the goal of Santos FC 1-0 victory over Botafogo SP, at the Ribeirao Preto Stadium in Sao Paulo, in the match for the Paulista A1 Tournament.

In his official debut with Santos, the Venezuelan entered the field in the 62th minute and in 71' he scored the winning goal of the Chilean half.

In this match, his compatriot Tomás Rincón entered the 88th minute.

With this victory, the Venezuelan club is tied with Portuguesa, in first place in group A, with 3 points.
