Decree 4952 was published in the Official Gazette 42,880 of May 16, 2024, which states that all private companies must contribute 9% of their income to the new Pension Fund.

This contribution is contemplated in the law approved on May 8, whose objective is to shield pensions from the adverse effects of the economic blockade.

This decree also establishes the exemption from this payment for projects duly registered in the National Entrepreneurship Registry (RNE), a benefit that will last a maximum of one year from the date of publication of this decree.

The decree is of a transitory nature and will be maintained as long as the economic sanctions imposed on Venezuela persist, said at the time the president of the Federation of Chambers and Companies of Venezuela (FEDEINDUSTRIA) , Orlando Camacho, this Monday, May 20, during an interview with Unión Radio.
