In Camaguán, Guárico state, the municipal headquarters of the Ombudsman's Office, located in the La Paraita community, was inaugurated this Monday, December 16, an act that took place in a civic-military-police union.
The event was led by the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz Angul; the mayor of the Esteros de Camaguán municipality, Emilio Avila; the Ombudsman in Guárico, Juan Sierra, and his counterpart from the Apure state, Daniel Lugo; the municipal defender, Emilio Pierro, and other authorities.
The information was provided by Mayor Avila, on his account of the social network Instagram, in which he noted that the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz Angulo, specified that this becomes the first municipal seat in the Guariqueña region, which will allow people to access better and faster care.
He pointed out that this infrastructure, provided by the mayor's office, has decent spaces for the promotion, defense and surveillance of Human Rights.
“Institutions must always be for the benefit of the population, we all owe ourselves to the people, all people must actively participate in the application of human rights,” said Ruiz.
In this regard, the local president welcomed the consolidation of this project, stating that it will guarantee the well-being of all Camaguanenses. “Without any excuse, we have been making progress on the commitments made in our government campaign. We have made a leap to progress, and this inauguration is part of that,” he said.
He also pointed out that “this is only possible thanks to the Bolivarian Revolution led by President Nicolás Maduro. Now people can come to a decent place, where they will be served by first-class teams with a sense of belonging.”
During the event, defender Ruiz Angulo was awarded the Juan Vicente Torrealba Order, for his outstanding presence and work for Human Rights.
Those present were blessed by the parish priest José Luis Andrea, who toured the place and carried the message of peace, harmony and union.
Avila, took the opportunity to congratulate the 78 communal judges of the peace, who have already been awarded and proclaimed. “I congratulate you from the depths of my being and for my beloved town, where I was born and raised. May commitment and unity strengthen peace of mind in each of their communities,” he emphasized.
“Our Ombudsman, Dr. Alfredo Ruiz, swears an oath to the 39 justices of the Peace, accompanied by their alternates, men and women who will be committed to guaranteeing in each of their communities the Good Life of all neighbors, putting human rights and values into practice through Peace and Sovereignty,” he said.
