The Operations and Emergency Center in Charallave is still active, where supplies are being received for families affected by the earthquakes of June 24, the Bolivarian Government of Miranda reported.
The collection point located in the Los Samanes sector supports the flow of donations that strengthen the institutional response, reported by Prensa Cristóbal Rojas.
The space was enabled by an emergency decree signed by Mayor Yuhismar Hernández, so the local authority instructed to maintain community coordination and citizen protection while care work progresses in the jurisdiction and in the most impacted areas of the country.
People who wish to collaborate can bring diapers, medicines, mats, non-perishable food, drinking water and other basic supplies; these contributions will be transferred to Caracas, La Guaira and sectors with the greatest damage, in addition to guaranteeing dietary supplements for families in Charallave.
The mayor called for calm and family unity, and she also reiterated her trust in the security agencies of the municipality and the Venezuelan State, which remain continuously deployed to support protection and assistance operations.
