The Ministry of Popular Power for University Education (MPPEU) reported that the results of the National Entry System (SNI) 2025, managed by the Office of University Sector Planning (OPSU), which assigns quotas in higher education institutions in the country, are now available.

High school graduates who participated in the process can check their status by accessing the official website sni.opsu.gob.ve with their registered username and password. Once inside, they must access the “My Assignments” or “View Results” section to check if they obtained a quota.

For those who were not assigned in this first phase, OPSU authorized a special period, from August 27 to 29, to modify options and participate in the second round of assignments. This period was extended until next Monday, September 1st.

Steps to modify options:

Access the National Entry System page (the platform may take a long time to load due to high traffic).

Sign in with your username and password

Select “Purpose of registration” in the menu located on the left side of the screen.

The system will allow the user to eliminate the options selected in the first phase and replace them with careers of interest to them, or keep the ones selected and apply again. The student must specify the following: career, university, core, headquarters or extensions

Once the selection has been completed, the applicant will have to select “Save”.

The SNI platform will allow other university careers to be added when they have eliminated the other study options registered in the first phase.

The student can apply for six quota alternatives, which allow them to choose the same career they selected in the first phase, but offered at another institution that had not been previously chosen.

The publication of the results comes after a delay that generated expectations among applicants, some of whom reported access difficulties due to high traffic on the platform.
