Orituco City Hall rehabilitates road to Guatopo National Park

Through clearance and adaptation work, 25 kilometers of Troncal 12, which connects Altagracia de Orituco, in the state of Guárico, with Santa Teresa del Tuy, in the state of Miranda and Caracas, are being intervened in order to revive tourism in the Guatopo National Park after a period of inactivity due to natural and safety factors.

The information was provided by the Mayor's Office of Orituco, highlighting that, with an eye on the holiday of Easter 2026, maintenance crews are permanently deployed in the area with the necessary heavy machinery.

It highlights that the objective is to guarantee safe and fluid access to attractions of high tourist value.
