Orluis Aular made his debut at the Giro d'Italia 2026

At the start of the 109th edition of the Giro d'Italia, the Venezuelan Movistar Team cyclist, Orluis Aular, came in 24th place after completing the race with a time of three hours, 21 minutes and eight seconds. With this result, he placed 27 in the standings, 10 seconds behind the winner of the stage and first leader of the general standings, the Frenchman from Soudal Quick-Step, Paul Magnie r (3:20:18).
Aular had arrived well placed in the final stage; on his way to get involved in the final sprint of the valid one, but he had to brake in the face of the fall of multiple cyclists in those last kilometers that conditioned his outcome in the stage.
Saturday's stage consists of a 221-kilometer mountain route from Burgas to Tarnovo.
