The Minister of People's Power for Agriculture and Lands, Vladimir Padrino López, this Saturday urged the Minister of People's Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado, to merge efforts for coffee producers in Venezuela.
From the Portuguese state, during the 1st Meeting of the Municipal Coffee Plan 2026, Padrino López recognized the work that has been done by the communes to promote this sector.
“We have to merge, work with a special synergy because in the end the farmer, where is he? The coffee farmer, where is he? It's in a communal circuit, it's in a commune. So we have to give it a figure, but also give existence and coexistence to all those organizations that we have given ourselves,” he said.
He recalled that the country has been subject to severe sanctions and a criminal blockade, so he said that the voice of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, “when on her pilgrimage across the country she asks the United States of America to lift sanctions, must also be heard with force in all the states of the country and here in Portuguese as well.”
