The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted this Friday the advances of the Integral Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI) of Venezuela, on the 47th anniversary of its founding.

“We have seen the integration of all the subsystems, the level of interoperability that is very important, the synchronization, the operational harmony. Units of the Bolivarian Navy are participating, all the flight platforms of our Bolivarian Military Aviation in perfect synchronization,” said the Minister of Defense, also referring to the Cacique Guaicaipura Air Defense Exercises 2025.

In this regard, he praised the progress of the Ayacucho Plan, instructed by President Nicolás Maduro, for the transformation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), “which is 67% complete. The CODAI is one of the pioneering units or commands that are making the fastest progress in the development of what is the Ayacucho Plan,” he said.

He stressed that the country's military forces are working “not only with aspects of organization, of rethinking weapons systems on the ground, but we are also talking about procedures, methods, doctrine. We have been watching all the conflicts worldwide and that gives us lessons or gives us guidance.”

“I can tell the people of Venezuela from here, to our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, that we are on very prodigious paths of developing new technologies,” he emphasized.
