The sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted this Thursday the unity of all components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to guarantee peace in the Fatherland.
During the central activity to commemorate the 242nd anniversary of the birth of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and Day of the Bolivarian National Navy, Padrino López praised this celebration as a “perfect act of union and of sending a clear message to the people of Venezuela about the capacities of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces to fulfill its constitutional task of defending this homeland to the last breath”, as well as “maintaining internal development, internal order, maintain peace, defend it every day and always participate in national development”.
In this regard, he praised the message of President Nicolás Maduro on this day, which has been “clear with clear signs of history and a precisely updated and current message regarding the threats that loom over the world and humanity; fascism, Nazism, neo-Nazism, Zionism, that all this turns into death, desolation, blood, violence, contrary to what is the general sentiment of humanity that is peace”.
He said that “much more courage is needed to make peace, much more courage, much more intelligence, much more skill, much more strategy to make peace than to make war, than to wage violence. So we signed up with peace,” he emphasized.
