Padrino López: No war can be won without the people

The sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted this Saturday the importance of counting on the People to face any war, in the face of threats from the United States (USA) against the peace of Venezuela and the Caribbean.

“No war is won without the people, without the support of the people, none (...) And I think that the imperialists of the north are in that diatribe. Because I am sure that the American people do not want wars even on the other side of the Atlantic, much less here in America and the Caribbean,” said Padrino López.

During the military training day convened by President Nicolás Maduro, with his call 'the people go to their barracks, 'the senior official stressed that if the US government decides to attack Venezuela it will not have “the moral support, the civic support of the population of the United States.”

Padrino López emphasized that, “while they (the United States) are pressing, doing a brutal exercise in psychological operations, we are here in maximum preparation.”
