Padrino López: The FANB is deployed to guarantee peace in the country

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will be deployed, this Sunday, July 27, throughout the national territory to ensure that the electoral process takes place in peace, said Defense Minister, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

In a video released on his Instagram account, the senior military official explained that the Republic Plan, together with the technical staff of the National Electoral Council, are installing voting stations in the more than 15,000 centers authorized for this Sunday.

“The entire Armed Forces will be deployed in all the streets of Venezuela, in all the voting centers, there are more than 15,000 voting centers, there are more than 15,000 candidates who are going to participate in the contest and that, of course, makes us happy, because we are building with the votes in hand and not with bullets our own democracy, the participatory, the democratic one that is enshrined in the constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” said Padrino.
