Padrino López to the US: We have the capacity to react and defend our airspace. Make no mistake!

The Sectorial Vice President of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir Padrino López, highlighted the strengthening of the Venezuelan Air Defense System to face any external threat.

“It's a great system that has demonstrated its coherence and validity over time and we can say that we have CODAI for a while. Make no mistake about Venezuela,” said Padrino López during the 47th anniversary of the Integral Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI).

He criticized the intimidating pretensions of the United States Army (USA) by bringing air vectors closer to the Venezuelan coast. “We here with great humility tell them not to make mistakes with us. We are prepared to defend this country. We are ready and that is not going to intimidate us, we are not going to break up because you are deploying an aeronaval military deployment in the Caribbean, carrying out offensive maneuvers near the Venezuelan coast,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he ratified that Venezuela has “the capacity to react and to defend our airspace. Make no mistake and don't go on with your game of psychological operations because we don't swallow it at all, at all. Neither us, the Armed Forces, nor the People of Venezuela,” he stressed.
