Padrino López: Venezuela “has a path traced as a self-determined people”

‎El sector vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, assured that Venezuela “has a path traced as a self-determined people.”

‎Durante the activities of the communal military Christmas Saturday, he explained that this route was traced by the Liberator Simon Bolivar, while recalling that on a day like today in 1998, Commander Hugo Chávez, “who brought back the flags of freedom”, won the elections.

‎Asimismo, highlighted the strength of the Venezuelan people who have “26 years of resisting the attacks of imperialism, but we also have 26 years of positive construction of the new Venezuela, with justices of the peace to settle matters in the territory in the best way, in the most expeditious and consensual way, together with the Self-Government Chambers, the Communal Circuits, the Communal Militia Units and the expanding militia”.

‎ “Venezuela today plays a fundamental role in the construction of the new world, not only because of its large resources that lie on Venezuelan soil, but because it has a libertarian sentiment, a libertarian behavior, far from slavery, and far from imperial guardianship,” said the defense minister as well.

‎Finalmente, highlighted that today there is a Bolivarian National Armed Force “based on its values, its principles, its humanist, independence character, with a character of freedom and national identity like never before, cohesive and united with the people.”
