This Thursday, July 24, the sectoral vice-president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López, reaffirmed that today more than ever Venezuela has a great commitment to the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and all the heroes who contributed to the independence of the Fatherland.
“This
act is very important to make amends to always vindicate history and also
to remember the commitment we have to the legacy of Bolivar and all
our liberators,” he said during the ceremony for the birth of the Liberator, the Anniversary of the Naval Battle
of the Lake and Day of the Bolivarian Navy.
He also
highlighted the heroic feat of the Father of the Fatherland in the conquest for independence.
“It must be remembered that this sea witnessed so many feats to carry out the
work of national independence led by none other than the
greatest man that humanity has, after Jesus Christ, the Liberator Simon
Bolivar, led by his patriotic lineage, his political, military,
geopolitical genius and led by his genius as a statesman and statesman, a constitutionalist as well,” he said.
He reaffirmed
that the date of the birth of the Father of the Fatherland merges with the Anniversary of the Naval Battle
of the Lake and the Day of the Bolivarian Navy. At the same time,
he expressed his pride in the men and women who defend
our immense Caribbean Sea every day.
“I am profoundly proud of all its servants, soldiers, officers and admirals; profoundly proud of our Bolivarian Navy of everything it does to defend this immense sea; and that it does so with perfection, with ethics and with professionalism,” he said.
