The Ministry of Popular Power for Education incorporated 30 refrigerated trucks into the distribution system of the School Food Program (PAE).

“With these units, we are going to strengthen and increase our capacity to supply food, especially proteins, fruits and vegetables, to ensure a nutritious and balanced menu in our schools with the support and love of mother cooks,” said Minister Héctor Rodríguez through his Telegram channel.

The measure is in addition to the plan initiated at the beginning of the 2025‑2026 school year, when the institution began the progressive delivery of 100 general cargo trucks intended for transporting supplies in all states.

Rodríguez has pointed out that food care is sustained through coordination between Executive agencies, governorates and mayors, as part of a policy that supports the right to education and food in basic and secondary schools.
