The presidential advisor for International Relations of the State of Palestine, Riad Al Malki, thanked the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) for expressing their solidarity and promoting concrete actions in favor of the cause of the Palestinian People.

“The ALBA nations have translated their solidarity into concrete actions, countries such as Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba and Nicaragua, have adopted courageous positions such as cutting or refusing to establish diplomatic ties with the Israeli occupation, these actions based on international law and moral dignity send an autonomous message to the world that justice and accountability are not negotiable,” he emphasized.

At the same time, he emphasized that the regional bloc is a symbol against oppression born of the vision and courage of two extraordinary leaders; Commander Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro. In addition, he stressed that “ALBA has demonstrated to the world that justice needs courage and the will to challenge entrenched arbitrary systems of hegemony, power and oppression”.

He also reaffirmed that the XXIV ALBA-TCP Summit “reflects the shared commitment of nations determined to defend justice, sovereignty and dignity in the face of challenges, represents more than a political and economic alliance, it is a manifestation of the invincible human spirit and a commitment to the principles of international law (...) This alliance is a living testimony to the power of collective determination to challenge imperialism and promote an equitable and just world order.”

He reaffirmed that what is happening today in the Gaza Strip is a reminder of the international community's failure “to act decisively against Israel's violations of international law.” At the same time, he recalled that more than 45,000 people, mostly women and children, have been murdered and more than 85% of Palestine is uninhabitable.

In this way, he called on the international community to demand an end to the genocide of the people of Gaza and to international institutions to compensate for the harm caused to this people.
