Paraguayan workers protest against President Peña's proposal that promotes “modern slavery”

Last Monday, members of the Paraguay Pyahura Party rejected a proposal by the president of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, that seeks the elimination of job stability.
The mobilization reached the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to express their disagreement with the proposal in which they state that the president promotes “modern slavery”.
The general secretary of the Paraguay Pyahura Party, Ermo Rodríguez, expressed concern about Peña's announcement and expressed confidence that the mobilization will continue to grow and other unions and social sectors will join.
