The president of Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA), Héctor Obregón, and the president of Exploration and Production of the British hydrocarbons company Shell, Peter Costello, carried out a high-level technical inspection at the facilities of the Muscar Operational Complex, in the state of Monagas, to evaluate projects aimed at expanding production, optimizing gas management and improving operational reliability.
During the tour of the gas complex, the authorities and their respective engineering delegations observed the pace of operations carried out in a sustained manner by Venezuelan personnel in the region.
The direct supervision of the maneuvers seeks to shield the extraction of crude oil and associated natural gas from the Carito and Pirital fields, strategic deposits that power the integral operation of the national energy industry and are indispensable for the territory's electricity generation system.
This signed alliance for the strengthening of the hydrocarbon sector reinforces the vision of cooperation and energy growth promoted by the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, for the social welfare of the Venezuelan people.
