Peasant Science Alliance served producers in Sucre

The team of the Scientific-Peasant Alliance in the state of Sucre traveled to the community of Cuesta Colorada, Ayacucho parish, Sucre municipality, to carry out a technical inspection together with producers from the Udarba Commune.

On a tour along the banks of the Tacal River, the specialists accompanied producers such as Rubén Silva, Pedro Zaragoza and Hilda Silva; in the inspection of their crops, providing immediate technical advice to protect the harvest, after detecting specific phytosanitary challenges in the fields of cocoa, guava and eggplant.

In this regard, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), despite challenges in irrigation systems, the commitment of farmers remains intact.
